Yes it seems I am not dead. Apologies for my absence with posts, replies and what not. RL does tend to get in the way and I'm trying at an awful game of 'Ketchup', though I admit I'm failing. I have missed a few posts and have been scrambling to keep up. It's not that I'm being a snob, nor am I disinterested (I love reading everyone's RL ramblings, reviews, recaps, fanfics, etc) nor am I simply being rude and not replying. I'm just... running behind.
I said I'd upload some Magazine Scans for a few people last week and, well here they are. Thus the magazines they are scanned from are 2 weeks old but meh, they either interest or they don't. There's some Prison Break, Supernatural and varying other fandoms.

I'm guilty of neglecting LJ. I've been meaning to comment on numerous posts from varying fandoms with varying content but simply put, I've been slack. I will get around to commenting/replying eventually. I promise I'm not being a snob!
And I may aswell post up a stocking since all the cool kids are doing it!

Squeeeee! Ok I've heard rave reviews from the flist on how great The Avengers was, but I still was apprehensive. It finally screened over here last night and my worries & concerns, *poof*. It was freaking-fantastic!
I was expecting a heap of Taylor and Summer, and quite a bit of Kaitlin. And that just put me right off. But they were all in their respecive places with their deserved amount of screen time. Summer surprisingly did not bug me one bit and Seth wasn't a big ass. Julie was wonderful and Taylor & Kaitlin had minute screentime and served their purpose (the way I see it the show originated with the others and they made it what is was. These two weren't even part of the O.C canvas and basically I hate when newbies come in and take over which is very easy to do. It's happened a lot the past few seasons but thankfully not atm). Ryan was perfection, I needn't go into it as it's already all been said (in the flist, not TWoP - tween morons!). And the Cohens+1, just lovely. I feel incredibly guilty for not joining in the happy dance.
And bonus, the network that screens the O.C here has their own little promos where the actors stand around in front of a white screen whilst they... well they just stand there and pout (or if you're Adam Brody, prance around). I'm trying to see if I can get it captured. |

A few days ago ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) vinni3 mentioned in Ben-Support about Ben & the Winchesters being at that Playboy Opening. A friend then sent me two pics from the event and, well I had to post. My old original TV Boyfriend alongside my most favorite bestest TV Boyfriend. Perfect!

Steve Irwin the Croc Hunter just died. I hated the connotations placed on Aussies from his shennanigans (Aussies do not proclaim 'Crikey' non stop nor do we have kangaroos in our backyard) but he was such a good guy and did so much for conservation. Plus he has two little kids. It's all rather tragic...
And this is unusually emo of me and not related to my fandoms at all so I'll stop. I just think he deserves some sort of acknowledgment |

Ok I'm bowing to peer pressure here. I love reading, have ever since I was a little kid and would take out books from the library that would amount to a pile half my size. Thus I very much love reading fanfiction. I savour good angsty Ryan fanfics, House, NCIS, Everwood... heck every show I watch I pretty much read fanfiction based on it. But I do not write it myself. Used to write pretty darn good stuff I don't say so myself, but that was 10 years ago! I have little drabbles and what not on my PC here but they're not up to public consumption i.e. they're crap. However I typed up a little Ryan fic a few weeks ago based on the spoilers E's Kristen gave out regarding the cage. I was actually prepared to post this up, on ff.net, annnonomously. But I really needed a Beta so the kindly monnie44 did this for me. However according to her I am under no circumstance to post this up anon and if I do so she'll give it away. After railing at me I have given in and, well, here it is. *cringes*

There have been a whole slew of OC articles recently due to Marissa tragically carking it on Aussie Televison screens this week. monnie44 asked me if I could post up these Article/Interview/Reviews for her thus I scanned them... and then my internet connection ended up screwed and I've been stranded offline for 2 days! But I'm back and here they are. Some have Ben's opinions and tidbits, some are spoilerish and some are absolute crap!

I was somewhat prompted by platysseus & monnie44 to scan & post up some articles/interviews etc. Some are a few weeks old but a few are brand spankin' new!
( Ben Mckenzie, House, 24, Greys Anatomy, etc underneath. )
Also must make my apologies, have many posts and entries to catch up on. Seems LJ has for some reason hid a few posts and I'm very behind on my meets & greets. But heck it's probably better this way as I've inevitably been offending various people online lately. If I ever offend you by chance, don't take it to heart, seriously, I'm probably just being overly passionate about the fandom, sarcastic or I haven't bothered to thoroughly explain my reasonings. Though hopefully I should be pretty safe here on LJ. *whimpers* |
